Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title: Senior QA Engineer Experience: 5–8 Years Location: Bangalore (Work from Office – 5 Days/Week) Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Passport: Good to Have Mandatory Skills: Playwright with JavaScript (4+ years), API Automation, UI Automation, Database Testing (NoSQL preferred) Good to Have: Mobile Testing Note: Candidates must have 4+ years of hands-on Playwright + JavaScript experience . Role Overview We are hiring an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright Automation using JavaScript , API testing, UI automation, and database validation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern QA practices, system testing, debugging, and quality ownership across the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute automated testing using Playwright with JavaScript , ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. Perform API and UI automation , covering test planning, execution, and reporting. Conduct thorough testing of web applications , backend services , and integrations. Work across system testing , bug lifecycle management, test case creation, and defect reporting. Perform database testing with both SQL and NoSQL databases (NoSQL preferred). Utilize Linux/Unix commands for debugging, log analysis, and environment validation. Identify potential risks, defects, and bottlenecks within applications. Perform root cause analysis for critical issues and collaborate with developers for quick resolution. Conduct mobile testing when required. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to requirement clarity by asking the right questions. Demonstrate ownership, self-motivation, and a strong passion for software testing and automation. Think analytically to break the system and uncover complex defects. Candidate Requirements Minimum 5 years of QA automation experience , with at least 4 years in Playwright + JavaScript . Strong understanding of API Automation , UI Automation , and modern test frameworks. Experience with database testing (SQL + NoSQL). Proficient in Linux/Unix environments. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently with a high sense of ownership.
