Role Overview

We are seeking skilled Python Developers with strong hands-on engineering experience to join our team. This role involves designing and building scalable backend systems using Python and modern web frameworks (Django / Flask / Pyramid), working within Agile/Scrum teams, and contributing to cloud-native, microservices-based architectures on AWS. Candidates will work on solution design, API development, data integration, and modern DevOps workflows, with optional exposure to ML/GenAI use cases.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python with Django / Django REST Framework (Flask or Pyramid a plus).

Build and consume RESTful APIs and JSON-based services for internal and external consumers.

Architect and implement solutions on AWS using services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS, and messaging/streaming services like Kinesis.

Design and develop data pipelines, ETL jobs, and event-driven workflows on AWS.

Work with SQL (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, RDS) and NoSQL databases; model data for performance and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, and use version control systems such as Git or Subversion.

Develop and deploy applications in a microservices architecture with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability across environments.

Analyze complex problems, troubleshoot production issues, and propose efficient, well-documented solutions.

Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and mentoring of junior team members.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience in Python development (3+ years for Developer)

Required experience with at least one Python web framework: Django, Django REST Framework, Flask, or Pyramid.

Expertise in solution design and development on AWS, including hands-on with S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS, and Kinesis (or equivalent messaging/streaming services).

Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON-based services, and backend architecture patterns.

Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.).

Proficiency with version control systems (Git / Subversion) and CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins).

Experience building scalable, secure systems with performance and reliability in mind.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working in Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Preferred / Good to Have

Experience with microservices architecture in production environments.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments (Docker, Helm).

Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Celery, or Kafka.

Knowledge of ML algorithms and/or GenAI/LLM frameworks and integrations is a big plus.

Exposure to the Telecom domain or other regulated industries.

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and observability tools.
