Work with client to understand requirements. Translate requirements into concepts for new products using CAD tools. Evaluate design concepts against requirements such as space, cost, materials, etc. Refine concepts into final products for manufacturing. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. Utilize the following tools and technologies: CAD, Measurement & Metrology Activities for automotive parts, Creating bill of materials, VAVE. SPECIAL SKILLS: Position requires a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and twelve (12) months of experience. One (1) year experience must have included: CAD, Measurement & Metrology Activities for automotive parts, Creating bill of materials, VAVE.
