Mechanical Design Engineer III Dublin, Ohio | Full Time Apply Now JOB TITLE: Mechanical Design Engineer III Ref. #: 9324.035 JOB LOCATION: Dublin, Ohio JOB DUTIES: Design and developing products using CAD software. Perform concept and feasibility study for components/systems for automobiles. Benchmarking of competitive products. Preparing conceptual sketches of new products considering the relations between components, functional requirements, allocation of space and component geometry. Designing and developing automotive parts from initial concept through to full production. Creating detailed production drawings for manufacturing. Refining product design to meet quality, safety, regulatory, cost and other requirements. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. Utilize the following tools and technologies: Catia, Benchmarking of Competitors vehicles, DFMEA, Regulatory and Certification Requirements. SPECIAL SKILLS: Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience. Two (2) years of the aforementioned five years of progressively responsible experience must have included: Catia, Benchmarking of Competitors vehicles, DFMEA, Regulatory and Certification Requirements.
