Work with client to understand requirements. Translate requirements into concepts for new products. Evaluate design concepts against requirements such as space, cost, materials, etc. Refine concepts into final products for manufacturing. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required. Utilize the following tools and technologies: Nanomechanical testing, X-ray Diffraction, Thermogravimetric analysis, Dynamic Mechanical Analysis. SPECIAL SKILLS: Position requires a Master’s Degree in Material Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field and twelve (12) months experience. One (1) year experience must have included: Nanomechanical testing, X-ray Diffraction, Thermogravimetric analysis, Dynamic Mechanical Analysis.
