About the role
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize end-to-end data solutions on the Azure platform . The ideal candidate will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to create scalable, high-performance data architectures that ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance . Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Development Design, architect, and develop data solutions on the Azure Stack . Build and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and integrations using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database . Data Management & Optimization Perform advanced data modeling, profiling, and quality assessments to ensure accurate and reliable data . Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency . Governance, Security & Compliance Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices in line with industry regulations . Monitor, troubleshoot, and proactively resolve data availability and reliability issues . Technical Leadership & Collaboration Work with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions . Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices . Skills & Qualifications: Robust expertise in Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database). Proficiency in ETL, data modeling, and pipeline development . Experience in data governance, security, and regulatory compliance . Robust problem-solving and analytical skills with a performance-driven mindset . Excellent communication and collaboration skills .
