Sr. Engineer - Electrical Studies

JOB DESCRIPTION Sr. Engineer Electrical (Proficiency in System Studies) Gurgaon Position Overview: We are looking for an Senior Electrical Engineer having 10-18 years of experience in the power industry with in depth knowledge of power plant detail engineering work who should be able to lead activities related to electrical power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, motor static & dynamic starting, transient stability, relay protection & coordination, arc flash, harmonic study etc. for large power plants. The candidate shall be responsible for conducting all these studies including intra/inter-disciplinary design check and interaction with foreign and domestic customers. Knowledge on other electrical activities shall be considered as an added advantage. Primary Responsibility Modelling of the electrical system in ETAP software Configuration setup for different contingency cases Running and troubleshooting Detail analysis to meet system requirements Report generation Technical discussion with customers on these studies Taking care of customers comments Other than Primary Responsibility Preparation of key single line diagram in line with the output of the electrical system studies Preparation of metering and protection diagrams Relay settings Your Profile Bachelor's degree/M. Tech (Preferred) in relevant field from an accredited college or University 10-18 years of total experience, including minimum 5 years as lead system study engineer Special Attributes Good communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Good Leadership skills to lead a group of engineers Self-disciplined and demonstrated capability to work in more than one projects at a time Our Offer An interesting and varied job in an international environment.
