Job Description Role Overview: As a Product Manager for Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) at Trademo, you will be responsible for leading the evolution of compliance products related to sanctions and AML. Your role involves owning the product lifecycle for critical screening capabilities by utilizing massive global datasets to create real-time, actionable compliance workflows. You will work on integrating Agentic AI capabilities into traditional workflows to develop a top-notch financial crime detection and risk mitigation ecosystem. Key Responsibilities: - Core Screening Capabilities: Design and scale next-generation capabilities for denied party sanction screening, PEP matching, and real-time transaction monitoring. - Ownership & Entity Resolution: Build robust features for mapping complex corporate structures, ultimate beneficial ownership (UBO), and "Sanctions by Extension" such as the OFAC 50% Rule. - Market & Regulatory Alignment: Monitor global regulatory landscapes like OFAC, EU, UN, and FATF to ensure alignment with evolving compliance standards and red-flag indicators. - Adverse Media & Risk Intelligence: Develop automated Adverse Media and negative news screening capabilities leveraging NLP for reduced false positives and real-time risk signals. - Agentic AI & Autonomy: Conceptualize and deploy Agentic AI capabilities to transform manual compliance workflows, enabling AI agents to handle alert dispositioning, generate audit trails, and conduct autonomous investigations. - Data Strategy & Orientation: Act as a data champion, evaluating and structuring diverse datasets into the TrademoKG knowledge graph to improve match accuracy, scoring algorithms, and entity resolution. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Design teams to translate regulatory compliance needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and technical roadmaps. Qualifications Required: - Experience: Minimum 36 years of product management experience, with a focus on building or scaling software products in Sanctions Screening, AML, KYC, or Financial Crime Compliance (FCC). - Strong Data Orientation: Proven experience working with massive, unstructured data sources, entity resolution engines, or building knowledge graphs. Comfortable with complex queries and data analytics tools. - AI/ML Familiarity: Experience or strong conceptual grounding in utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, or Agentic AI frameworks for automated decision-making processes. - Regulatory Depth: Solid understanding of international sanctions frameworks, trade compliance, beneficial ownership complexities, and financial crime risk indicators. - Technical Communication: Excellent at writing clear, metric-driven PRDs and technical specifications, collaborating closely with data engineers and AI researchers. - Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to simplify complex regulatory workflows into highly automated, intuitive, and seamless user experiences.
