About the role
Required Skills & Experience • 10+ years in data engineering (with data governance expertise) implementation roles. • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake DG stack: o Data Map, Scans, Classifications, Lineage, Glossary, Policies. • Scripting skills: PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI for automation. • Familiarity with RBAC, ABAC, and Microsoft Information Protection. • Understanding of metadata management, data catalogs, and data privacy regulations. • Experience with API integration and CI/CD pipelines for governance automation. ________________________________________ Nice-to-Have • Certifications: Snowflake/AWS/Azure Data Engineer, Acceldata, CDMP. • Experience with data quality frameworks (Great Expectations, Deequ). • Knowledge of data security principles, Zero Trust, and Data Mesh concepts. ________________________________________ Core Competencies • Strong Client Communication and stakeholder management skills • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work in agile environments and deliver incremental governance capabilities • Technical depth in SaaS product configuration on AWS and automation • Clear documentation and operational excellence • 10-20 % travel required (as needed)
