Software Engineer Development - Java

As a Full Stack Software Development Engineer at Trelleborg, your main responsibility will be to develop secure, scalable, and high-performance applications across the web ecosystem. You will be involved in the end-to-end lifecycle from design and development to deployment and maintenance for critical segments of the websites. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications & services with a focus on security. - Build efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code for back-end development. - Implement RESTful APIs using the Jersey framework for seamless data exchange. - Develop responsive and user-friendly user interfaces using React and its ecosystem. - Design and optimize database schemas, write complex queries, and functions for Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL. - Ensure high code quality, performance, and adherence to industry best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Participate in deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities within a CI/CD pipeline. - Diagnose and resolve complex production issues efficiently. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field. - 3-4 years of experience in developing complex Java web projects. - Knowledge of ReactJS or JavaScript library. - Experience in developing and implementing complex web solutions. - Good understanding of website architecture for Internet, Intranet, and Extranet. - Experience in web and application server administration. - Proficiency in the Java programming language. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective time management and prioritization in a dynamic environment. - Ability to work independently with strong communication skills. - Fluent in English (spoken and written).
