Senior RAMS Engineer

JOB POSITION: RAMS Engineer JOB DESCRIPTION: Looking for a RAMS Engineer with 5+ years of experience and minimum of 5 years of experience in Railway/Metro RAMS. The job base location is Bangalore. SKILLS REQUIRED: · Sound knowledge and hands on experience in RAM and Safety Analysis for railway systems preferably metro signalling systems · Complete knowledge on EN50126, EN50129 or any other equivalent standards. · Experience in implementation of RAM and safety programme as per EN50126 or any equivalent standards. · Experience in Reliability and Safety Analysis for CBTC based metro systems. · Experience in safety analysis including PHA, FMEA, FTA, IHA etc. · Hands on experience with Reliability prediction using MIL-HDBK-217F or equivalent standards. · Experience in managing hazard log and preparation of safety case. · Experience in reliability modelling including RBD and redundancy models. · Experience in performing maintainability analysis to calculate the MTTR or downtime of the system. · Experience in performing reliability analysis to estimate the MTBF of the electronic systems. · Estimation of product Safety Targets as per CENELEC Standards · Experience in performing spare parts analysis. · Experience in attending client meetings and IS Audit. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Contribute individually as well as able to lead a team. · Perform RAM and Safety related activities for CBTC based metro systems. · Perform RAM and Safety related activities for railway signalling equipment mainly axle counter, TCAS systems. · Contribute to RAMS team to adopt the En50126, En50129 standards practices. · Perform Reliability prediction using the Isograph tool. · Take part of the safety reviews and audits meetings · Derive the RAM and Safety target from the customer specification. · Contribute for the RAM and Safety demonstration as per customer specification. · Analyse the data captured based on system performance and demonstrate the RAM parameters. · Conduct RAM and Safety analysis as per development lifecycle. · Create and maintain process records for all the RAMS activities. · Interact and engage with external developers/partner, architect, development team, Software testing and V&V team to successfully complete the RAMS analysis. EDUCATION: · B.E/ M.E degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
