Role Overview: The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all construction activities at the Tathawade site. The role focuses on maintaining construction standards, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with drawings/specifications, and maintaining all quality documentation as per company and industry norms. Key Responsibilities 1. Quality Assurance & Control Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures at site. Ensure all work is carried out as per approved drawings, IS codes, specifications, and safety standards. Conduct inspections for civil, structural, finishing, and MEP works. 2. Site Inspections Inspect shuttering, steel reinforcement, concreting, blockwork, plaster, tiling, waterproofing, painting, and other finishing works. Check materials delivered to site cement, sand, aggregates, steel, blocks, tiles, etc. Prepare inspection reports and get approvals from Project Manager/QA Head. 3. Quality Documentation Maintain QA/QC checklists and quality records. Prepare and maintain MTCs (Material Test Certificates), cube test reports, slump tests, soil compaction tests, etc. Update Daily Quality Reports (DQR). 4. Vendor / Contractor Coordination Coordinate with contractors and supervisors for rectification of defects. Highlight NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure timely corrections. Conduct joint inspections with contractors. 5. Drawing & Specification Compliance Verify execution strictly as per approved GFC drawings. Identify discrepancies and coordinate with the planning/engineering team for clarifications.
