Job Description Safety Engineer (High-Rise Building Project) Position: Safety Engineer Location: Pune Experience: 810 Years Qualification: B.E./B.Tech with ADIS Project Type: High-Rise Residential/Commercial Building Job Description We are looking for an experienced Safety Engineer to manage health, safety and environmental activities for a high-rise building project in Pune. Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor site safety policies, procedures and statutory requirements. Conduct daily site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments. Prepare HIRA, JSA, work permits and safety checklists. Monitor work-at-height, lifting, scaffolding, electrical and excavation activities. Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and training programmes. Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices. Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions. Maintain safety records, reports and compliance documentation. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients and project teams. Ensure emergency preparedness, fire safety and first-aid arrangements. Stop unsafe work and ensure timely closure of safety observations. Candidate Requirements B.E./B.Tech with ADIS qualification. 8-10 years of safety experience in building construction projects. Strong experience in high-rise residential or commercial projects. Knowledge of construction safety, statutory compliance and permit systems. Good communication, reporting and team-coordination skills. Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.
