Job Title / Role: Test Engineer - Engine Development- Calibration Department: R&D Section: Super Premium - Engine Location: Hosur Education Qualification: Graduation in Mechanical /Automobile engineering or equivalent degree Vacancy 2- Multi cylinder engine development and testing(non-calibration) Required Experience: 5-10 years Role Description Understand the engine subsystem functions, assembly protocols, build book and assembly drawing Conduct or execute engine or vehicle and its sub system level testing. Understand the test standards and analyse test data (incl. Benchmark data) and report the results. Daily and weekly work /engine assembly, maintenance and test plan and execution to achieve monthly target Engine assembly plan and execution by guiding the team members Motorcycle riding on road & evaluate the problems Do benchmarking of competition products and experiment new ideas for product improvements Functional Competency: Basic Product knowledge IC engine working knowledge and testing knowledge Basics of engineering materials Experimental methods & tools for problem solving Good riding skills Standardization of test methods & procedures Manufacturing process Quality assurance & Metrology Testing and instrumentation technique, data acquisition & knowledge Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
