About the role
As an Experience Designer at U.S. Bancorp India, you will be customer obsessed in developing human-centered experiences that offer personalized, clear, helpful, and inclusive digital plus human solutions for customers. You will consider the why, what, and how of product use to identify where user needs align with business goals throughout the user journey. Your responsibilities will include: - Leveraging human-centered design methods such as design-thinking, service design, and research/insights to plan, create, and present persuasive, engaging, and strategic ideas that influence product roadmaps and demonstrate a solution's potential for success. - Performing competitive analysis of direct/indirect competitors and staying updated on new trends in the marketplace to inform the research and design process. - Translating business, contractual, technical, and user needs into end-to-end customer, employee, and 3rd-party experiences that are accessible, inclusive, and compliant. - Designing omni-channel experiences that are empathetic, easy to use, improve customer satisfaction, and drive deeper product adoption. - Delivering experiences that have been validated through experimentation, testing, and optimization. - Conducting design within an agile environment and advocating for the integration of design across the entire release cycle. - Adhering to reusability standards by leveraging the Design System and established platform capabilities. - Collaborating with design peers and key stakeholders to ensure artifacts and deliverables accurately represent and align with the U.S. Bank brand. Qualifications required for this role include: - User experience design experience Preferred Skills/Experience: - Expertise on critical interdependencies among product model system elements to achieve business results - Deep understanding of target customers through internal/external research - Strong collaboration with product managers, software engineers, and agilest to execute product vision - Facilitation of cross-functional human-centered design sessions to identify continuous improvements - Additional preferred skills include design-thinking, user-centered design, product strategy, vision and planning, product development, customer experience research, and marketing analytics.
