About the role
You will lead technical requirement gathering and manage project risks while ensuring team adherence to best practices and quality standards. ResponsibilitiesOwn technical requirement gathering and assist the team in understanding project scopes.Manage project risks and proactively address customer needs.Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to ensure system reliability and safety.Provide technical input during design and architecture reviews.Drive knowledge sharing sessions and maintain project compliance with audit findings and naming conventions.Required Skills10+ years of experience in the Industrial Automation domain.Proficiency in C/C++ programming, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux, including kernel configuration and device drivers.Deep understanding of embedded systems architecture, microprocessors, and microcontrollers (8/16/32 bit).Experience with RTOS environments such as Yocto, Buildroot, VxWorks, Zephyr, or FreeRTOS.Expertise in networking protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, FTP, SNTP, PTP, and Redfish.Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics for component interfacing.Proficiency with debugging tools such as JTAG, GDB, printk, kernel logging, Perf, and Valgrind.Experience with version control using Git or SVN and build systems like CMake or Make.Preferred SkillsExperience implementing Machine Learning or AI algorithms on embedded devices.Knowledge of IoT protocols such as MQTT or CoAP.Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
