SAP GTS consultant

SAP GTS Consultant | 6+ Years | Full-Time We are looking for an experienced SAP GTS Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Global Trade Services implementation, enhancement, and support across key global trade compliance areas including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Product Classification, and Risk Management . This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-grade global trade projects involving SAP ECC/S/4HANA integration, international trade compliance, multi-country rollouts, and post-go-live support . Role Responsibilities Drive SAP GTS functional implementation, support, and enhancement activities Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP GTS solutions Configure and support key SAP GTS business processes across compliance and customs domains Handle end-to-end integration between SAP GTS and SAP ECC/S/4HANA Participate in SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support Resolve production issues, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and solution design documents Coordinate with cross-functional/global teams to ensure smooth trade compliance operations Mandatory Skills / Must Have (Only Relevant SAP GTS Profiles Will Be Considered) Core SAP GTS Experience Minimum 6+ years of relevant hands-on SAP GTS experience Strong implementation and support experience in SAP Global Trade Services At least 12 end-to-end SAP GTS implementations or major rollout/support engagements Functional Expertise in SAP GTS Modules Strong Hands-on Working Knowledge In Compliance Management Customs Management Product Classification Risk / Legal Control Processes Must Have Exposure To SPL Screening Embargo Checks Legal Control License Management Product Classification Customs Processing SAP ERP / S/4HANA Integration Hands-on Integration Knowledge With Business Partner Transfer Material Master Integration Document Transfer between SAP ERP/S/4HANA and SAP GTS Business & Project Execution Experience in requirement gathering and business workshops Ability to participate in functional solution design Hands-on experience in: SIT UAT Defect Resolution Cutover Go-Live Hypercare Support Data & Compliance Handling Experience maintaining and managing: HS Codes ECCN Preference Processing Good understanding of trade compliance and regulatory impact Preferred / Good To Have Skills Candidates with the following exposure will be highly preferred: Experience with SAP S/4HANA integrated GTS landscape Exposure to Global Rollouts / Multi-country Deployments Knowledge of SAP TM integration Experience handling international trade regulatory updates Strong documentation and change management capability Exposure to process improvement / enhancement projects Educational Qualification Any Graduate / Engineering Degree / MCA or equivalent Professional Attributes We Are Looking For Professionals Who Possess Strong ownership and accountability Excellent stakeholder communication Ability to handle multiple deliverables in parallel Strong analytical and issue-resolution mindset Detail-oriented documentation skills Learning agility in global trade compliance processes Ideal Candidate Profile This opportunity is best suited for consultants who have worked deeply in SAP GTS compliance/customs processes and can independently manage implementation, integration, business coordination, testing, and support activities in enterprise environments.
