Senior Automation Engineer (SDET) API Automation

Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid 2 Days Work from Office) Experience: 610 Years, 30053 Employment Type: Full-Time Work Shift: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM Notice Period: Immediate Joiners / Up to 30 Days Preferred About The Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer (SDET) to drive quality engineering initiatives through robust test automation frameworks and API testing solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RestAssured, Java, and API Automation, along with experience working in Agile environments and CI/CD-driven delivery models. You will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality software releases through scalable automation practices. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain API automation test suites using RestAssured and Java. Build and enhance automation frameworks using OOP principles and best practices. Perform in-sprint automation testing within Agile development cycles. Develop and execute automation scripts for API, database, and UI testing. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines. Create and maintain test reports and dashboards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage and quality. Troubleshoot automation issues and identify root causes of defects. Maintain test documentation and automation standards. Mentor team members and contribute to automation best practices. Must-Have SkillsExperience 6+ years of experience in Automation Testing. 5+ years of hands-on experience in API Automation using RestAssured and Java. Experience working as an SDET or Individual Contributor.
