About the role
Key Responsibilities : - Innovative Design : Create compelling, user-friendly designs for technology products, addressing complex problems while enhancing user satisfaction. - Creative Solutions : Bring out-of-the-box thinking to provide inventive design enhancements for existing products, challenging traditional design concepts. - Team Leadership : Mentor and lead a team of designers, fostering their growth and inspiring them to achieve excellence. - User Research : Conduct thorough research to understand user needs, behaviors, and challenges, translating insights into impactful design decisions. - Prototyping : Develop interactive prototypes to visualize, validate, and refine design ideas. - Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to align design with business goals. - Design Systems : Contribute to or establish design systems that ensure consistency and scalability across all products. - Usability Testing : Organize and execute usability tests, collecting feedback to improve designs. - Quality Assurance : Partner with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs, addressing any design-related challenges during development. - Documentation : Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, and specifications. - Trend Awareness : Stay updated on emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the table. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline. - 5-7years of proven UI/UX design experience, with a portfolio showcasing innovative, user-centric designs. - Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar platforms. - Proficiency in creating interactive prototypes using tools like InVision or equivalent. - Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking processes. - Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring design teams. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively. - Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Experience designing for both web and mobile applications. Preferred Skills : - Familiarity with front-end development technologies to facilitate design-developer collaboration. - Experience with tools like Zeplin, Proto.io, or Principle. - Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
