Junior Software Developer Backend API

As a developer at the Jodo platform, your primary responsibility will be the development of REST and SOAP APIs. You will handle End-to-End development across the entire API lifecycle, including documentation, design, testing, and deployment. Additionally, you will build backend services to support both new and existing product features. Your role will involve working on performance tuning to optimize response time and scale API request handling efficiently. You will actively participate in Peer code reviews to enhance your ability to provide effective feedback and ensure higher quality code. Moreover, you will be responsible for handling L2 support and Support Escalations. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and developing RESTful and SOAP APIs for Web and mobile applications using Java and Spring - Building highly secure web applications - Working with caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached, etc. - Working with queuing technologies like ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, etc. - Utilizing databases such as MySQL, MariaDB - Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications - Using API development tools like Swagger, Postman, etc. - Strong analytical and debugging abilities Qualifications Required: - B.Sc Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. Electronics/Telecommunication, Computers, MCA Computers, M.Tech Electronics/Telecommunication, Computers - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Rest API, Springboot, and Microservices It is desirable that you have familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and experience with open-source projects. Your technical skills should include REST API, Application Security, Message Queue, Swagger, OWASP, Java, Web Services, Redis, SOAP API, Spring Boot, Spring, Postman, and Microservices.
