Associate Software Engineer II

Role Overview: As a part of the Optum global organization, you will be contributing to improving health outcomes by designing and implementing AI systems for conversational search in medical content. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement AI systems for conversational search in medical content - Evaluate, debug, and improve conversational AI for accuracy and efficiency - Monitor and optimize system performance for latency, cost, and reliability - Explore and apply reinforcement learning and self-improving techniques - Drive end-to-end UiPath to Power Automate Desktop (PAD) migration, including assessment, redesign, optimization, and stabilization of existing automations - Develop and integrate AI/ML capabilities within PAD framework for intelligent automation, decision-making, and migration acceleration - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Stay up-to-date with advances in AI/ML and contribute innovative ideas to improve product capabilities - Ensure responsible and ethical AI practices throughout all stages of development Qualifications Required: - Graduate degree or equivalent experience - Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field - 1+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with a strong focus on NLP and Language Models - Experience with OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar LLM frameworks - Hands-on experience with Power Automate AI Builder, Copilot Studio, Agentic Frameworks, and GitHub Copilot - Solid experience in UiPath to Power Automate (PAD) migration, including architecture, framework design, and automation transformation - Experience working with large-scale data processing and computing frameworks (Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.)
