This position supports business teams by delivering analytics and reporting that improve lead quality, funnel performance, and cross-functional execution. The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analyzing lead and funnel data, supporting the definition and measurement of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and identifying opportunities to improve conversion, handoff, and performance through standardized business intelligence solutions. The role applies analytical knowledge to interpret complex data and provide insights that inform decision-making and support business outcomes. Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into lead funnel performance, MQL quality, and conversion outcomes using enterprise business intelligence toolsAnalyze structured and unstructured data across CRM, campaign, and automation platforms to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunitiesDefine, document, and maintain metrics, calculations, and reporting standards in partnership with stakeholdersEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through validation of source data, transformations, and reporting outputsSupport the definition, measurement, and refinement of MQL criteria, lead scoring models, and funnel stage definitionsAnalyze MQL to Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) conversion, aging, and drop-off metrics to identify inefficiencies and process gapsEvaluate the effectiveness of enrichment, automation, and prioritization strategies on lead quality and sales readinessTranslate analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations through dashboards, presentations, and written summariesPartner with Sales, Analytics, Technology, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver analytical solutionsComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience6+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or a related analytical roleDemonstrated experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, DOMO, or equivalent platformsExperience working with CRM systems, lead management data, or customer funnel analyticsProven solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively Preferred Qualifications: Experience with MQL frameworks, lead scoring methodologies, and funnel or revenue analyticsExperience supporting process improvement initiatives through data analysisFamiliarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Adobe CDP, or similar enterprise systemsProven solid written and verbal communication skills At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
