Full Stack Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain end-to-end web applications spanning frontend and backend layers - Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js - Build backend services, APIs, and microservices utilizing technologies such as Node.js, Java, or Python - Engage with healthcare data systems such as EHR/EMR, claims, and clinical data platforms - Design and oversee databases (SQL/NoSQL) to uphold application functionality and data integrity - Collaborate with product, data, and clinical teams to translate healthcare business requirements into technical solutions - Ensure applications comply with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards such as HIPAA - Participate in testing, debugging, performance optimization, and code reviews - Assist in deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in cloud environments like Azure, AWS, or GCP Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field - 2+ years of experience in full stack development or software engineering roles - Proficient in backend development with Node.js, Java, or Python - Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB - Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web services - Knowledge of Git and version control practices - Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and basic CI/CD concepts - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue) At UnitedHealth Group, our overarching mission is to empower individuals to lead healthier lives and enhance the functionality of the health system for all.
