Primary Responsibilities: Design and implement test strategies for ETL pipelines, data platforms, and AI-driven workflowsDevelop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python, PyTest, and PlaywrightPerform data validation, reconciliation, and end-to-end testing across Azure Databricks, ADF, and Data LakeBuild and execute API and integration test suites for data services and applicationsValidate data quality, lineage, and transformations to ensure accuracy and consistencyConduct LLM testing, prompt validation, and AI output evaluation for GenAI use casesIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality validationCollaborate with engineering and product teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteriaIdentify, track, and resolve defects, ensuring high reliability and production readinessDrive test optimization and scalable quality processes aligned to rapid platform growthUser Responsibilities:Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasksEvaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovationComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech/BE) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / QA Automation, preferably in data platforms or ETL environmentsSolid hands-on experience in SQL, Python, and test automation frameworks (PyTest, Playwright)Experience with ETL testing, data validation, reconciliation, and data warehouse conceptsExperience in API testing and automation (REST services, integration testing)Solid understanding of test design, defect management, and quality processesFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)Exposure to Azure data ecosystem (Azure Databricks, ADF, Data Lake) or similar cloud platformsProven excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills in a global (India-US) delivery model Preferred Qualification: Exposure to AI/ML testing, LLM validation, or prompt evaluation At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
