Senior Software Engineer II - Python

As a member of the Optum team, your role will involve designing, developing, testing, deploying, and continuously improving software. You will translate product concepts into project commitments that deliver incremental value to customers frequently and with high quality. Additionally, you will participate in Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases and perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing code, providing feedback on best practices, and improving performance. Troubleshooting production support issues post-deployment and coming up with solutions as required will be part of your daily tasks. You are expected to be innovative in solution design and development to meet the needs of the business, work closely with the Architecture group, drive technical solutions, and adapt in a dynamic and collaborative work environment to make independent decisions. Collaboration to meet project timelines and compliance with employment contract terms, company policies, and procedures will also be essential.
