Primary Responsibilities: Work on reliability, scalability, and performance across our systems, with a strong focus on leveraging AI and automationImplement AI/ML models for predictive alerting, anomaly detection, and capacity planningIntegrate AI tools into incident management workflows to reduce MTTR and improve root cause analysisDrive adoption of AI-powered observability platformsDesign and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS and GCP servicesCreate scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormationCollaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions into CI/CD pipelinesDevelop and enforce security policies, standards, and proceduresMonitor cloud environments and optimize performance, cost, and reliabilityTriage and RCA of production incidents and managementStay current with cloud trends and recommend best practices and new technologies Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation. Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineeringHands-on experience with security tools and platformsExperience with monitoring and alerting tools, especially those with AI capabilitiesExperience implementing AI/ML models for operational intelligence, observability and automationKnowledge of AIOps platforms and frameworksSolid understanding of cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure), network security, and application securityProven excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of cloud principles Knowledge of software security principles At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
