You will be joining the School of Computer Science and Engineering at UNSW in Sydney, Australia as a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Neurosymbolic Artificial Intelligence. Your role will involve contributing to research and education in this field, focusing on integrating machine learning and symbolic reasoning to tackle complex problems and developing robust AI systems. You will play a key role in shaping the next generation of AI researchers and practitioners. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research in the area of Neurosymbolic Artificial Intelligence - Integrate machine learning and symbolic reasoning to address complex problems - Develop interpretable AI systems that advance learning and reasoning paradigms - Contribute to collaborative research initiatives and high-quality teaching Qualifications Required: - PhD in a related discipline or relevant work experience - Commitment to keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments - Experience in teaching and learning design at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level - Knowledge of industry or experience in work-integrated learning (desirable) - Ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds UNSW is a world-leading institution known for its industry engagement and impactful research.
