About the role
Role Overview: As a Senior Information Architect (UX / Information Architecture Lead) at a Fortune Global 500 organization like UPS, you will play a strategic UX leadership role in defining navigation models, user flows, and overall information structure across enterprise digital platforms. Your responsibilities will include ensuring intuitive, scalable, and user-centered experiences that are aligned with business goals and brand standards. This high-value offshore role will involve providing UX governance and oversight across marketing and digital initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Define logical content structures and taxonomy models - Develop scalable navigation systems for enterprise websites - Create detailed sitemaps and content organization frameworks - Ensure consistency across digital properties - Map user journeys aligned with business objectives - Define task-based flows to optimize engagement and conversion - Conduct heuristic evaluations and usability reviews - Identify friction points and recommend UX improvements - Work closely with UX designers, developers, marketing, and product teams - Produce wireframes, IA documentation, flow diagrams, and interaction guidelines - Maintain design consistency and governance standards Qualifications Required: - 8-12+ years in UX / Information Architecture roles - Proven experience defining IA for enterprise-scale websites - Strong understanding of usability principles and interaction design - Experience creating sitemaps, user flows, and wireframes - Familiarity with UX tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Miro) - Solid stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills Additional Company Details: UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
