Java Software Engineering Manager (Remote from Spain)

We are looking for a Java Software Engineering Manager with strong technical expertise, leadership mindset, and experience working in international environments. High english level is required. Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership : guide the team on design, architecture, implementation, validation, and monitoring Drive execution excellence : manage backlog, assign tasks, track progress, and mitigate risks Lead and inspire through a growth mindset and core values (integrity, accountability, respect) Own the DevOps lifecycle: you build it, you own it, you run it Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of solutions Oversee all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Align team efforts with Product Management goals and vision Encourage innovation within the team and across technical domains

Mandatory requirements:

Proven experience as Software Engineering Manager or Technical Lead Experience working with international customers Deep understanding of SDLC and software engineering principles Strong knowledge of design patterns (e.g., SOLID) Advanced Java programming skills and API development Experience with testing methodologies (Unit, API, Acceptance, Load) Expertise in distributed architectures (SOA, Microservices) Experience with event-driven architectures and REST APIs Hands-on experience with AWS services Familiarity with Gradle or Maven Experience with Enterprise Jenkins Agile methodologies experience ( Scrum, SAFe ) English C1

Nice to have:

Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., banking) Knowledge of Docker AWS certification Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Fargate) Hands-on experience with TDD and BDD
