Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Treasury, BCM, & MBC Consultant (Migration Lead) Location: [Bangalore/Mumbai] Employment Type: [Contract] Experience Level: [5-7 Years] Job Overview We are seeking a highly specialized SAP Treasury Consultant to lead our financial transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM), Bank Communication Management (BCM), and SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC). You will be responsible for migrating our legacy treasury operations to S/4HANA, modernizing our payment architecture, and establishing a secure, scalable, and automated bank connectivity framework using SAP MBC on the Business Technology Platform (BTP). Key Responsibilities ECC to S/4HANA Migration: Lead the fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and execution of migrating SAP TRM, BCM, and Cash Management modules from ECC to S/4HANA using standard migration methodologies (Brownfield/Bluefield). Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) Implementation: Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP MBC. Manage the onboarding of banking partners, configure routing rules, and ensure secure data transmission between S/4HANA, BTP, and external bank networks (including SWIFT). BCM & Payment Factory Configuration: Configure SAP BCM for payment batching, approval workflows, and status tracking (e.g., PAIN.002). Align BCM processes with MBC for seamless outbound payments and inbound statement processing. Treasury System Optimization: Configure SAP TRM (Money Market, Forex, Debt, Investment Management) leveraging S/4HANA best practices, ensuring accurate master data migration via Customer/Vendor Integration (CVI). Format & Integration Management: Oversee the mapping and configuration of global payment and bank statement formats (e.g., ISO20022, XML, CAMT.052/053/054, MT940). Fiori & Advanced Cash Management: Activate and customize role-based SAP Fiori apps for Treasury and BCM. Configure the Cash Flow Analyzer and Liquidity Management tools in S/4HANA. Testing & Bank Coordination: Coordinate directly with external banking partners for connectivity testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: Minimum [8+] years of SAP FI/Treasury experience, with at least [2] full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA migrations or implementations. MBC Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience implementing SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC) as a SaaS solution, including knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) integration, Cloud Connector, and bank onboarding processes. Core Treasury Modules: Deep configuration expertise in SAP BCM, SAP TRM, and S/4HANA Advanced Cash Management. Migration Knowledge: Strong understanding of ECC to S/4HANA transition phases, simplification lists, and BP/CVI conversion specific to financial and treasury data. Technical Acumen: Advanced knowledge of payment architectures, XML/ISO20022 formats, API integrations, and secure file transfer protocols. Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications SAP Certification in S/4HANA Financials, Treasury, or SAP BTP Integration. Experience with SAP Advanced Payment Management (APM) or SAP In-House Cash (IHC). Familiarity with SWIFT infrastructure (SWIFT Alliance Lite2) and corporate-to-bank API connectivity. Agile/Scrum project delivery experience. Soft Skills Strong vendor and bank relationship management skills to drive third-party testing and onboarding. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex BTP/MBC architectures to non-technical finance leaders. High adaptability and problem-solving mindset to navigate complex migration challenges.
