About the role
Automation Engineer (5–8 Years) Seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, and industrial automation. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and commissioning automation solutions, with strong exposure to OPC UA and Industry 4.0 integration. Roles and Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement automation systems using PLC platforms such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff , and other industrial controllers. Develop, debug, and optimize PLC logic for machine and process automation. Integrate PLC systems with SCADA/HMI platforms and ensure seamless data flow. Configure and develop SCADA/HMI features including dashboards, alarms, trends, and historian integration (Ignition or equivalent). Perform system testing, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting . Work on industrial communication protocols and ensure efficient connectivity between systems. Configure and troubleshoot OPC UA connectivity between PLCs, SCADA, MES, and enterprise applications. Support OT/IT integration initiatives and digital transformation projects aligned with Industry 4.0 . Collaborate with cross-functional teams and independently drive delivery of automation solutions. Maintain documentation and ensure best practices in automation and control system design.
