Job Description MEP Engineer Position: MEP Engineer Experience: 8 - 12 Years Location: Perungudi, Chennai Industry: Construction / Interior Fit-Out / Real Estate Job Summary We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer with 8 - 12 years of experience in construction or interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, project execution, coordination, quality control, and site management. Key Responsibilities Plan, execute, and monitor MEP works as per project schedule. Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities with civil and architectural teams. Review MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. Ensure work complies with quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors. Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports. Resolve technical issues during execution. Ensure timely completion of MEP activities within budget. Conduct inspections and quality checks at the site. Required Skills MEP Project Execution HVAC Systems Electrical Systems Plumbing & Fire Fighting Systems Testing & Commissioning AutoCAD MS Office BOQ & Quantity Verification Vendor Coordination Project Planning Site Management Quality Assurance Safety Compliance Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Relevant certifications are an added advantage.
