Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer Role Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in AI/GenAI testing, automation frameworks, and scalable quality engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Playwright, TypeScript, CI/CD integration, and enterprise-grade automation solutions. Exposure to AI-assisted testing and GenAI feature validation is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript Build and execute automated test cases for web applications and AI/GenAI-based features Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and DevOps teams Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and reporting dashboards Perform API testing, UI testing, regression testing, and functional testing Develop reusable automation utilities and optimize test execution strategies Work on AI feature validation including prompt testing, output validation, and response accuracy checks Analyze defects, track quality metrics, and ensure high-quality releases Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and agile ceremonies Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices Technical Skills Required: Automation & Testing: Strong experience in Playwright with TypeScript Expertise in UI Automation, API Testing, Regression Testing Experience in building scalable automation frameworks Knowledge of AI/GenAI feature validation and testing approaches Programming & Scripting: TypeScript JavaScript Basic Python knowledge (good to have) CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines GitHub Actions / CI integration Docker and containerized execution exposure Tools & Platforms: VS Code Git / GitHub Jira AWS / Cloud exposure Other Skills: Agile/Scrum methodology Test metrics and reporting dashboards Cross-browser and cross-platform testing AI-assisted testing tools exposure (Copilot, AI-based automation utilities) Key Competencies: Strong analytical and debugging skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work in fast-paced agile environments Ownership mindset and proactive problem-solving Strong focus on quality engineering and process improvements Project Exposure: Experience working on AI/GenAI-driven products and enterprise applications Hands-on involvement in CI/CD-integrated automation solutions Exposure to cloud-based and scalable automation ecosystems Experience supporting high-volume release cycles and enterprise-grade QA processes .
