As a Senior IT Support Analyst, your main responsibility will be to lead and participate in the support and maintenance efforts of ERP and various Business Systems. Your role will involve integrating these systems into business processes to enhance efficiency for all stakeholders. Key activities will include estimating support effort, analyzing and documenting requirements, developing and executing testing plans, preparing training documentation, and conducting end-user training activities. Additionally, you will lead IT projects, mentor team members, and collaborate across the Global IT organization as necessary. Your scope of work will cover multiple IT infrastructure areas such as network support, server administration, IT production support, and application support, with the potential for additional areas as required. Reporting to the Manager - IT, this role does not have direct or indirect reports. This position may involve up to 10% travel (internationally/domestically) and a rotational shift schedule with the flexibility to report to the office as needed. Your role will also involve providing leadership in utilizing Information Technology within Valmont as a trusted advisor to the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor tickets in the support queue in Service Desk+ and acknowledge tickets with appropriate urgency and priority - Participate and lead global support efforts of enterprise applications and software within agreed SLAs - Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to identify, analyze, and document functional business requirements - Initiate and participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) calls to resolve urgent priority tickets - Develop and validate testing plans and conduct functional user testing - Coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders - Write and review support documentation for enterprise software/hardware - Make recommendations for process improvements in both business and IT - Mentor junior resources and work as a leader within the IT support team Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience - Understanding of project management principles - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite products - Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal) - Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills - Experience with ERP software such as IFS, QAD, Sage, SAP - Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment - Familiarity with tools like Azure Dev Ops or JIRA - Business analysis certifications from IIBA or PMI, or other business-related certifications like APICS - Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language Valmont is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant based on various characteristics.
