Security Automation Engineer

Role Overview: Security Automation Engineer (Microsoft Sentinel): Automates security detection and response in Microsoft Sentinel using analytics rules, playbooks, APIs, and CI/CD while supporting audit and compliance needs. • Develop automation for IAM standard requests including MFA enrolment, password resets, and standard access provisioning • Build automation for vulnerability lifecycle status updates and remediation tracking • Implement automated evidence collection for control testing where feasible • Create SOAR playbooks within Microsoft Sentinel for alert correlation and response workflows • Develop ServiceNow workflow automation for incident/problem/change processes • Improve tool integration between ServiceNow, SIEM, vulnerability management, and identity platforms • Maintain automation backlog and prioritise based on effort reduction and risk impact • Role Overview: Security Automation Engineer (Microsoft Sentinel): Automates security detection and response in Microsoft Sentinel using analytics rules, playbooks, APIs, and CI/CD while supporting audit and compliance needs.
