Business Object XI Consultant

We are looking for a skilled Business Objects XI Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Business Objects Suites (5.X, 6.x, XI R2/3.1) , data warehousing technologies, and architecture design. Key Responsibilities: BO XI Suite Expertise: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Business Objects (BO) XI R2/3.1 architecture, including server clustering . Universe & Report Development: Design and develop Universes using aggregate aware, derived tables, and linked universes while implementing row-level and object-level security . Report Creation: Develop reports using Web Intelligence (WEBI) and Desktop Intelligence to meet business needs. Database & SQL Optimization: Write and optimize SQL, PL/SQL, triggers, stored procedures, functions, and bulk upload processes to improve system performance. Migration & Data Modeling: Handle data modeling, performance tuning, and system migration to enhance efficiency. Technical Leadership: Mentor teams, provide guidance, and ensure best practices in SDLC, CMMI, and ISO standards. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business teams to understand processes and provide technical solutions . Required Skills & Experience: 4-8 years of hands-on experience with Business Objects XI (BO XI R2/3.1) Expertise in Universe Design, WEBI, Data Warehousing, and SQL/PL-SQL Experience with Business Objects server clustering, installation, and maintenance Strong background in data modeling, performance optimization, and migration Excellent communication skills and client interaction experience Nice to Have: Knowledge of CMMI, ISO, or best practices for software development Experience in mentoring technical teams If you're an enthusiastic, proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background, apply now!
