Client provides information and communications technology (ICT) solutions It offers a range of computing devices storage devices servers networking systems electronic devices and allied products The company also provides application business transformation enterprise and cybersecurity network and communication services Client offers 5G networks network switches optical networks open networks data center interconnect electronic devices air conditioning software storage and servers It markets products under the Client brand The company serves various industries including automotive manufacturing retail financial services transport public sector energy and utilities and services providers It has operations in the Middle East Europe Africa Asia-Pacific and the Americas Client is headquartered in Minato-Ku Tokyo Japan About The Job: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in the Security Operations (SecOps) suite particularly Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules The ideal candidate will be responsible for hands-on development customization and integration of SecOps modules to enhance our organization's cybersecurity capabilities This role requires hands-on expertise in ServiceNow configuration scripting and integration with a deep understanding of security processes and tools Candidates will be experienced in leading ServiceNow engagements end to end In addition the successful candidate(s) will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties Essential Job Functions: Configure develop and support ServiceNow modules including: Design develop and configure solutions within the Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR) modules in ServiceNow Build and maintain scripts (Business Rules Script Includes UI Actions Client Scripts) using JavaScript and Glide APIs Integrate ServiceNow with external security tools (eg Qualys Tenable Rapid7 Splunk CrowdStrike etc) Automate SecOps workflows and create orchestration playbooks to improve incident and vulnerability handling Work closely with security infrastructure and ServiceNow teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SecOps modules and integrations Maintain technical documentation including configuration guides and development standards Participate in code reviews unit testing and deployment activities Participate in user training and provide post-implementation support Qualifications : Skills and Experience Requirements: 5 7 years of ServiceNow development experience including 2 3 years with SecOps modules (SIR and VR) Proficient in ServiceNow development including scripting (JavaScript Glide) UI customization and REST/SOAP integrations Strong understanding of security operations incident response processes and vulnerability management Experience with third-party tool integrations relevant to security operations Familiarity with CMDB ITSM and ITIL best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in agile development environment Strong analytical communication and client-facing skills Ability to work in agile and fast-paced environments Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Skills and Certifications ServiceNow certifications - Service Now System Administrator CSA Certified Implementation Specialist Security Incident Response (SIR) Certified Implementation Specialist Vulnerability Response (VR) ServiceNow Certified Application Developer ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Certification Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation development and Customer Presentation skills Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities If you're not available or interested in this opportunity please pass this along to anyone in your network who might be a good fit and interested in our open positions VARITE offers a Candidate Referral program where you'll receive a one-time referral bonus based on the following scale if the referred candidate completes a three-month assignment with VARITE Experience Level Bonus Referral: 0-2 years INR 5 000 2-6 years INR 7 500 6+ years INR 10 000 VARITE is an equal opportunity employer We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees We do not discriminate on the basis of race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity or expression national origin age marital status veteran status or disability status "
