Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

The Cloud DevOps Engineer will work on both strategic projects and day-to-day operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve and expand our cloud capabilities. This position requires strong technical expertise in cloud platforms, scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and a solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop OpenSearch dashboard to display user permissions, enabling easier management

and oversight.

Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support.

Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience.

Enhance the Lambda function to convert output into byte streams, sending results to

OpenSearch for real-time data analytics and reporting

Proactively perform other duties as necessary for completion of projects and achievement of departmental goals.

Create detailed version control documentation to track and manage updates to newly

developed features, ensuring proper change management.

Automate the addition of domain users via Python scripts.

Requirements

• Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Ruby, Groovy)

• Experience in managing and migrating cloud infrastructure, especially on AWS

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in configuring and managing cloud monitoring and logging tools.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and lead a team.

• Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering role with hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
