Software Programmer

Job Description:

We are looking for an organised and technically proficient programmer to create and maintain our organisation’s systems software and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Write, test and maintain computer programs and web applications using various technologies to meet business and functional requirements.

• Developing in-house software and minimising potential risk.

• Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support.

• Develop front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript to ensure responsive and user-friendly application design.

• Assist with planning and designing systems and application architecture, and with the translation of systems requirements into application prototypes.

• Manage source control using Git, ensuring code quality, consistency, and adherence to branching strategies.

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth 2.0 and Okta, by writing and integrating the required code.

• Required Skills:

• Excellent knowledge with relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies.

• An analytical mindset and critical thinking.

• Strong communication skills, with an ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical business leaders.

• Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, research-oriented team that has concurrent projects.

• Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or information technology.

• 3+ years experience with .NET, angular.
