Job Role : Deployment Engineer Exp : 5-10 Years Location : Bangalore Skills : SD-WAN SD-WAN Velocloud, Viptella , Meraki Palo-Alto and Netskope + Automation (Ansible & Python) Key areas include: Core IP routers and capacities supporting the complete suite of IP network services. Internet Edge Routers providing IPT and GID services to key OTT and Eyeball customers. Private IP service Provider Edge routers including multiple generation of PE devices servicing Telstra internal and external customers. Lab support, regression testing, new capability design. Support and operational systems. Key Responsibilities: Engaging with diverse stakeholders to understand and translate customer needs and requirements, into realisable and commercially viable products, services, or systems and/or networks infrastructure. Contributing significantly to the design, build, installation, integration and maintenance of multiple complex networks and systems Work with teammates to develop and test solutions within both the physical and virtual lab environments. Support deployment activities of new technologies and hardware as driven by strategic projects associated with network enhancement and upkeep, working closely with architecture team. Assessing capability of vendor solutions and offerings to meet business requirements and managing vendor performance and technology delivery. Contributing to technology investment and business asset recommendations and assessments based on extensive knowledge of new and emerging technologies. This includes developing platform specific technology roadmaps that leverage opportunities from evolving and future technologies. Provide engineering sales support, responses to RFQs and tenders on potential services of a complex or novel nature that will require product enhancements and attend customer meetings as technical expert. Identify, analyze and specify new and emerging technologies, technology roadmaps and product /service opportunities and work with vendors to develop solutions. Maintaining a high level of capability in network engineering, including new and emerging technologies, networks tools, systems, and processes so that you can model continuous learning and actively provide coaching and mentoring of other network engineering team members. Contribute to the management, running and activities of both the physical and virtual lab environment Support the deployment and management of internal networks. Identifying technologies to curate products and solutions Creating business opportunities through the identification, validation and selection of technologies to curate and leverage Deploying integrated networks and solutions Builds systems that install, configure, deploy and monitor network solutions, ensuring effective integration and automation Translates requirements into a flexible, customer focused and cost-effective network or solution architecture that meets current and future needs Transitioning to new networks and solutions Migrates legacy networks and solutions to new networks and solutions seamlessly, with minimal impact to the customer Support: Combines SON principals with data analytics to deliver self-organising networks Performance monitoring, Capacity Planning, Troubleshooting, Optimisation, Lifecycle management, Technology Roadmap Network Business and Commercial: Defines and manages business and commercial agreements for the cost-effective delivery of network solutions, vendor management Problem solving, interpersonal and presentation Proven ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to a less technically skilled audience.
