About the role
Description We are seeking a skilled Assembly Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assembly processes and will play a critical role in designing and optimizing assembly operations for our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Design and develop assembly processes for new products. Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and assembly efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for assembly issues. Optimize assembly line layouts and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Test and validate assembly processes and equipment to ensure quality standards are met. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in assembly engineering or related roles. Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing assembly layouts. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles. Experience with lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
