About the role
\nDevelop and maintain business intelligence solutions to support financial reporting and analysis for the Finance department and other stakeholders.\nAnalyze internal data to identify opportunities for data products and create reporting solutions to meet business needs. \nDrive the run-and-operate transformation initiative by providing an in-depth analysis of Verizon's financial data, including revenue, expenses, profitability, and customer trends. \nAnticipate future business needs and build scalable solutions that address current and future data requirements. \nInterpret complex business requests and translate them into actionable technical solutions. \nEvaluate and provide feedback on reports and data visualizations. \nLead and execute reporting process automation using Qlik, ThoughtSpot, Looker, Knime, Alteryx, Google Workspace apps, Teradata, and BigQuery. \nEstablish and share best practices for building reports, dashboards, and visualizations, promoting a culture of self-service analytics with appropriate guardrails. \nCollaborate with finance teams to understand their needs and create data automation and visualization solutions using a single source of truth. \nProvide requirements to the data products team and translate cross-functional business requirements into data product requirements. \nStay current on industry trends and techniques to envision and implement innovative business intelligence solutions. \nParticipate in cross-functional project teams to identify and address reporting requirements. \n
