About the role
\nDesign and develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau based on business requirements.\nTranslate complex business logic into intuitive visualizations that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.\nCreate and manage data models in Power BI using star/snowflake schemas, DAX measures, and calculated columns.\nOptimize SQL queries and Power BI data models for performance and scalability.\nExtract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources such as SQL databases, Excel, APIs, cloud storage, and on-prem systems.\nBuild data pipelines or collaborate with data engineers to ensure clean, validated, and timely data availability.\nDevelop and maintain embedded Power BI solutions within custom Angular web applications using Node.js APIs for token generation and security.\nCollaborate with frontend developers to integrate Power BI visuals seamlessly into user interfaces.\nImplement data quality and validation checks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and trustworthiness of all dashboards.\nMaintain role-level security (RLS) and user access control policies across reports and datasets.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Analysts, Developers) in an Agile/Scrum environment to prioritize and deliver BI features.\nParticipate in sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement.\nMonitor dashboard performance and troubleshoot rendering or refresh issues, particularly in embedded scenarios.\n
