About the role
• Gather, Analyze and Review the business requirements from the users for the software program(s) to be developed and for the enhancements.\n• Create Business Requirements and Specifications document.\n• Work on high-level and low-level design and review the documents with the team.\n• Design and Develop, Customize the software code (using Java, JEE, Spring, Microservices and other java technologies) following Test-driven-development paradigm.\n• Conduct Code reviews, Debug and Troubleshoot, Bug fixes.\n• Set up the databases and schemas, and other database objects (e.g. Procedures, triggers, views, db links, Partitions), Write SQLs, SQL performance tuning.\n• Test the software code using automated and manual test cases.\n• Create test plans and prepare test environments for test-a-thons, and to support User Acceptance Testing\n• Update/Modify the software for missing user requirements.\n• Deploy the code in DEV, TEST and Production using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery\n• Responsible for supporting and monitoring the application in Production environment.\n• Research new technologies and do proof-of-concepts (POCs)\n• Mentor junior developers.\n
