About the role
As a QA Business Analyst at Verisk, you will be part of the Underwriting Products team responsible for developing and supporting ISO's Electronic Rating Content (ERC) product. Your role involves working closely with product managers and IT to ensure the success of customers and drive the ERC product forward. Responsibilities: - Retain in-depth knowledge of Verisk Rating and ERC Rating offerings - Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and procedures for insurance manual updates within ERC - Identify and report defects and issues to the development team, tracking them through resolution - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality features efficiently - Analyze test results and provide feedback to stakeholders - Troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and identify process improvements - Provide production support for answering questions about ERC product offering - Work independently and within a team environment - Assist in developing performance basis measurements and meeting deadlines and goals - Complete all responsibilities as outlined on the annual Performance Plan - Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned Qualifications: - BS/BA or equivalent - Detail-oriented and solutions-driven QA professional with technical skills and strategic thinking - Strong knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables and vlookups - Technical skills in development environments and insurance software products are a plus - Comfortable in fast-paced environments, quick to understand requirements, and identify areas for improvement - Proficient in defect management, triaging, prioritizing, and collaborating for issue resolution - Experience in commercial lines admitted business - Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills - Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership qualities Verisk has been a leading strategic data, analytics, and technology partner to the global insurance industry for over 50 years.
