Java Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer at our company, your role involves implementing features for critical application environments for industry leaders in the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities: - Backend Development: Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. - Database Management: Work with Oracle Databases, writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database interactions. - Deployment & Server Management: Deploy and manage applications on WebSphere Liberty Server, ensuring stability and performance. - Code Quality & CI/CD: Maintain high-quality code using GitHub, Maven, and IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA/Eclipse), following best practices for version control and build automation. Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency in Java (8+) including Java EE - Experience with Java Application Server technology, preferable with Open Liberty or IBM WebSphere - Experience with Websocket technology - Experience with Docker - Experience working with Oracle - Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control, Maven for build automation, Artifactory, SonarQube and IDEs like IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse - Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities. Easy to work with. - Experience with the relevant business domain (Automotive industry). Familiarity with IT process frameworks SCRUM, ITIL. This job is a full-time position with 6-8 years of experience required for the role. The position is 100% remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere.
