About the role
Role Overview: You will be joining our automotive engineering team as an experienced AUTOSAR Software Developer. Your main responsibilities will include designing, developing, configuring, and integrating AUTOSAR-based ECU software components. It is essential to ensure compliance with automotive standards and project timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze software requirement specifications to determine feasibility, scope, and schedule impact - Collaborate with software architects to contribute to software architecture design - Develop detailed design and low-level design (LLD) for assigned modules using tools like Enterprise Architect - Estimate effort required and ensure timely completion of tasks - Implement source code in Embedded C following AUTOSAR and organizational coding guidelines - Configure and integrate AUTOSAR BSW stack, specifically DEM and DCM modules - Address MISRA warnings using tools like Klocwork - Participate in code reviews, requirement reviews, and architecture design reviews - Ensure MC/DC coverage and conduct unit testing for assigned components - Work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, project managers, integrators, and functional safety managers Required Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - 4+ years of hands-on experience in AUTOSAR-based ECU software development - 4+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development - Proficient understanding of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and V-Model development lifecycle Must-Have Skills: - Strong expertise in Embedded C programming - Hands-on experience with debugging tools, programmers, and CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, CANdela) - Experience working with microcontrollers (NXP, Infineon, Renesas) - Sound knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI, GPIO - Practical experience in AUTOSAR configuration and integration using tools like ETAS iSolar B, Vector DaVinci Configurator Pro, EB Tresos - Familiarity with version control and requirement management tools such as Git, PTC Integrity, JIRA - Exposure to global cross-functional teams (US/Europe) and full SDLC participation - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and proactive mindset Good to Have: - Experience in AUTOSAR ECU integration and RTE generation - Ownership of AUTOSAR diagnostic stack (DEM/DCM) across multiple projects - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Hands-on experience with software architecture design using UML tools - Solid understanding of ISO 26262 (Part 6 Software Safety) Role Overview: You will be joining our automotive engineering team as an experienced AUTOSAR Software Developer.
