About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and eager-to-learn WordPress Developer (Trainee/Fresher) with a strong foundation in WordPress development and a desire to work on live client projects. This role is ideal for candidates who want to build practical experience while learning from experienced developers. The Trainee Employee Program is designed for candidates who demonstrate strong potential but require additional practical exposure before independently handling client projects. During this three-month program, you'll work on live projects under the guidance of experienced team members, receive regular feedback, and develop the skills required to transition into a permanent role. Upon successful completion of the program, trainees may be offered a full-time position based on performance and business requirements. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Develop and maintain WordPress websites using themes, templates, and page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or Oxygen. 2. Customize WordPress themes and templates under the guidance of senior developers. 3. Work with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement website functionality and customizations. 4. Assist in developing and managing WooCommerce stores and e-commerce features. 5. Build dynamic website sections using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro), including Repeater Fields. 6. Support REST API integrations and connect third-party tools and services with WordPress. 7. Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance. 8. Perform testing, bug fixing, and quality assurance before deployment. 9. Collaborate with designers, developers, and project coordinators to deliver projects on time. 10. Maintain clear documentation of development tasks, updates, and customizations. Have a minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in WordPress development through internships, training, freelance work, or live projects. 2. Possess a good understanding of the WordPress CMS. 3. Be familiar with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or Oxygen. 4. Have basic knowledge of PHP and WordPress theme customization. 5. Be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles. 6. Be familiar with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro) (preferred). 7. Have basic knowledge of WooCommerce and e-commerce website development. 8. Be familiar with REST APIs and third-party integrations (preferred). 9. Have exposure to Shopify or Webflow (preferred). 10. Possess strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn. 11. Have a portfolio, GitHub profile, or sample WordPress projects to showcase previous work (preferred). 12. Be pursuing or have completed a degree or diploma in BCA, B.Tech, MCA, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). 13. Demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and ownership of assigned tasks. 14. Be passionate about web development and continuous learning.
