About the role
JD Support Engineer Essential Job Functions ● Familiarity with the Okta identity and access management (IAM) platform, its operation, functions and processes ● Assist with the transition of new and existing applications into Okta SSO and federation services, while enhancing web access management, and directory service environment ● Perform necessary platform configurations and configurations related to integrating applications with Okta for SSO and federation services (OIDC and SAML2) ● Manage existing integrations and support technical integration needs (design and development) that facilitate connectivity between SSO, directory, and provisioning tools ● Monitoring system operation and performance for potential problems ● Researching, testing, and verifying proper functioning of software patches and fixes ● Documenting design specifications, system configurations and standard operating procedures (SOP's) ● Support and troubleshoot end user password reset, account suspension, multifactor authentication (MFA) and SSO issues ● Create/delete groups, create/remove users, create/clear user tokens in groups, manage group permissions, edit MFA factors, monitor and respond to ticket queue, run and download reports ● Occasionally support production changes and disaster recovery tests outside of normal working hours Required Qualifications ● 5+ years of professional experience in the Information Technologies field - Required ● Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience - Required ● Experience with using and administering Okta - Required ● Experience with assisting end user authentication issues - Required ● Familiarity with single sign-on technologies (OIDC & SAMLs) -Required ● Experience with assisting end user authentication issues - Required ● Okta administration certification - Not required, but a plus ● Supporting users in the Asian and European
