SAP Record to Report (Finance) Subject Matter Expert

As an SAP Record to Report (Finance) Subject Matter Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring financial data accuracy and migration to SAP S/4HANA. This full-time position based in Mumbai, India offers regional coverage and the opportunity to contribute significantly to the team's growth. Key Responsibilities: - Lead financial data collection, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation of balances and master data between legacy systems and SAP S/4HANA - Support validation of Open Item migration, including AR, AP, GL, Leases, Fixed Assets, Internal Projects, and intercompany balance - Assist accounting teams with master and transactional data mapping activities, providing guidance and direction - Identify and manage risks related to data migration, consistency, data readiness, and test-cycle execution - Serve as a key escalation point for data issues, coordinate country-level activities, track delivery progress, and manage workload priorities - Act as the SAP R2R Subject Matter Expert for finance processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices - Support system integrator with SAP user training, testing, and process harmonization across global operations - Provide ongoing end-user support, resolve system or process-related issues, and ensure compliance with program governance frameworks Key Requirements: - Strong Finance and accounting background - Proficiency in Excel for data handling, reconciliation, and templates usage - Hands-on experience with SAP, preferably S/4HANA - Strong coordination, follow-up, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders - Experience in multi-country transformation/rollout and similar roles in complex organizations - Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance area, including Lease Management - Academic and professional achievements, likely including a bachelors degree and/or an accounting qualification (Note: Company Benefits section has been omitted as it does not provide specific details beyond general employee well-being and insurance benefits) Role Overview: At Vistra, our purpose is progress, aiming to support clients in achieving global progress by simplifying the complexities of global business.
